Zenban Kanban System
Your operators shouldn't spend an hour cutting kanban cards out of A4 sheets every shift. And you shouldn't be paying overtime for it. Zenban prints kanban onto peel-off labels — pick one off, send it to the line. Done.

Zenban in 60 seconds
From the day's e-Kanban file to cards ready for the line — the whole workflow in a minute.
Built for plants that still cut and sort by hand
The Zenban Kanban System is a Windows desktop application that prints e-Kanban cards directly onto peel-off label stock — eliminating the manual cutting, sorting, and overtime traditional kanban printing requires.
Zenban is for 1st and 2nd tier automotive suppliers serving Japanese OEMs. If your shift looks like this — print a stack of A4 sheets, cut each one into individual cards, sort the cards into trays by lane, then send them out — Zenban is the upgrade.
It prints onto peel-off label stock instead of plain paper. Cards come out the printer already separated. Pick one off, send it to the line. The scissors and sorting trays go in the bin.

Cards come out separated
Print onto peel-off labels. Each card lifts off ready to go to the line. No scissors. No sorting trays. No paper waste.

How it works
-

See every card. Pick exactly which ones to print, step through to verify, adjust if needed.

Print & peel
Hit print. Cards come off the label roll, one per peel, ready for the line.
Implemented at a Japanese OEM supplier
The pain. After every print job, two operators spent more than 60 minutes with scissors and trays — cutting printed sheets into individual cards, sorting them by lane, and racing to get them out before the next shift. The work consistently pushed kanban preparation into paid overtime. And on bad days, a scripted helper for combining serials broke on edge-case exports; mornings started with IT troubleshooting before the line could print at all.
What changed. Zenban replaced everything with one app and a roll of peel-off labels. Operators open the day's file, pick what to print, hit print. Each card peels off the roll ready to use. No cutting. No sorting. No script to maintain.
The results. The 60-minute cut-and-sort step is gone. The overtime tied to it is gone. Morning fragility is gone — zero IT escalations since rollout. Operators run the whole workflow end-to-end. Recovered manpower is approaching 2 MP per year, and the customer saw ROI in under twelve months.
